"Thank You Teacher" Treat Bag

Hi everyone, we are nearly at the end of another school year and what better way to end the year than to say thank you to the teacher. Well today's 3d challenge over at Cardz TV is  to say thanks to the teacher with treat bag or box, so  I made a "Thank You Teacher" apple treat bag. I used the "School Days" set from Cardz TV Stamps and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on a "blackboard" paper tag.

This svg file is from SVG Cuts "Miss Karen's Back to School Bags". I added abc & 123 stickers from "Simple Stories "Elementary" paper kit, some shimmer with my Wink of Stella glitter pen and some ribbon. This cute little bag is sure to put a smile on any teacher's face.

Please stop by Cardz TV for more inspiration from our DT and to enter in this weeks challenge for a chance to win a stamp set from Cardz TV stamps.

Happy Easter Egg

Hi guys, I'm here today with my DT project for Cardz TV. This weeks challenge is to make a 3d Easter treat bag or box. I made an Easter egg box and filled it with candy, the sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "Happy Days".  This svg file is from Svg Cuts "Bunny Hop" kit. I made this a tad shabby chic, by adding some pearls, lace, seam binding and little butterfly that I cut out with a MS punch. I also used a punch for the little tag for my sentiment.

Please stop by Mary's blog at Cardz TV for more inspiration from our DT and for a chance to win one of her wonderful stamp sets by entering in this weeks challenge.

Spring Has Sprung... Floral Topiary

Hello my creative friends, welcome back for another DT project for Cardz TV. For today's 3D challenge I had to make a home décor project for Spring, so I decided to make a floral topiary. The "Spring has sprung" sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "Think Spring" set. This topiary fits right in with the décor in my studio, especially with yellow being my favorite color.

This file is from SVG Cuts "Thank You For the Music" svg kit, and as always, she does tutorials on how to assemble her cuts. I used Heartfelt Creations "Sunny Day" and "Classic Sunflower" collections for the vase and butterflies and yellow cardstock for the flowers.

Be sure to stop by Cardz TV for more inspiration from Mary and our DT , also be sure to enter in this weeks challenge for a chance to win  a set of Cardz TV Stamps

Looking forward to the Spring!!!

Halloween Pumpkin with Witch Hat

Hi everyone, hope you all had an amazing summer. Now that summer is almost over, it's time to start enjoying this beautiful fall weather that's approaching. For my DT project for Timeless Twine I made a Jack O' Lantern with a witches hat, it can be used to carry treats or for some home décor, I'm using it as home décor.

You can find this file at SVG Cuts, it's from the Haunted Forest kit. I had so much fun putting this together, I used the "Orange Licorice" Timeless Twine, some lace, rhinestones, black glitter and a glittery spider. I love how pretty and spooky it turned out.

Happy Birthday Box of Letters

Howdy, back with a project for my DT post at Timeless Twine. We were to create a project using the colors of the inspiration photo posted below....blue, orange, red and yellow. July is a very busy month around here for birthdays, one of them being my husband's. So I came up with the idea of making this birthday box "instead of a card" for heartfelt letters from myself and the kids, they are light enough that I made a twine handle to hold the box.

I bought the svg file from svgcuts.com "Country Market", in the video Mary gives the option to add lights to the arrow, in this case I did not. The twine that was used is the Cherry Red, Pumpkin Orange, Lemonade Yellow and Aqua Blue. The papers used are from K&Company and the brads and eyelets are from Recollections.

Enjoy...

"Gone Fishin" Box of Shells

Hello there, hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. For todays DT project at Cardz TV Gallery, I made a boat box and I used Cardz TV Stamps "Fun in the Sun" for the cute sentiments. I bought the boat box svg file from SVG Cuts kit "Picnic in the Park" and the fence from the "Seaside" svg kit.

Most kids when they go to the beach, love to collect seashells, so this will be for a little boys room, so he can put his seashells inside.

I did use some Prima seashells, which I painted, and the bigger seashells from K&Company. I used several TH distress embossing powders to create the sand, I added a nautical metal compass and a variety of rope and twine to complete my project. The nautical papers are from Authentique.

Enjoy...

Steampunky Hot Air Balloon

Hi everyone, here is my project for Party Time Tuesdays, this month's sponsor is Spectrum Noir. I had mentioned before on a previous post for my Strawberry Cupcake Hot Air Balloon that I had made a steampunky hot air balloon and here you have it. I didn't go to heavy on the gears and what not, as I did want to keep it quite simple and not weigh it down too much, but I still love how it turned out.

I love this hot air balloon svg file from "High Skies", Mary from SVG Cuts always amazes me with what she comes up with, but I have to say this svg file is one of my favorites. I used Timeless Twine "Aqua Delight" which worked perfectly, their twine really stands out so nicely on the balloon.

The possibilities are endless, looking forward to making some more  of these for a summer party.

Soon to come... an altered steampunk clock!

Enjoy...

Strawberry Cupcake Hot Air Balloon

Hi guys, here with another Timeless Twine project, for today I decided to make this fun and bright hot air balloon. Today is Technique Tuesdays, so I will give a quick tutorial on how I added the "Strawberry Cupcake" twine to the hot air balloon.

I did purchase the svg kit "High Skies" from SVGCuts.com, on there you will find a video by Mary on how you can construct the hot air balloon. I also have another hot air balloon that I will be sharing with you on March 4th, that one is more towards Steam Punk theme and believe it or not, I have requests for more.

There are some many creative ways you can use this file, for a child's room, party décor and so on, the ideas are endless... it really is a lot of fun to play with.

Enjoy...

"Twas the Night before Christmas" Book Box

Hi everyone, glad to be back with another project to share with you for my DT post for Cardz TV Gallery. I made this adorable book box that I found at SVG Cuts "Spirits of Christmas Past" kit. I think it's just perfect to be used for little Christmas treasures.

I used Cardz TV Stamps "Very Merry" and "Home for Christmas", which couldn't be more perfect. I also cut the moon svg file from "Night Before Christmas" over at Kadoodle Bug Designs.

A couple of embossing folders were used to do the sides of the book, back cover and corners. Finished it by adding some twine, metal brads and rhinestones, along with shading and spraying with Glimmer Mist "Guilded Gold".

Some of my most favorite designer papers are from Graphic 45, I used the "Twas the Night Before Christmas" paper pack.

Can't wait to give this to that someone special that I have in mind!

Enjoy...

Halloween Mini Album

Happy Halloween!!!!

Hi guys, hope your all enjoying Halloween today, I had so much fun decorating and as always...looking forward to seeing all of the kids in the neighborhood with their fun costumes.

For todays DT project for Cardz TV Gallery, I thought it would be nice to have a little mini album for all of the cute pictures that we all take of our kids, in my case nieces and nephews all dressed up for Halloween. I have posted a link below to a YouTube video I made showing the project in detail, which I thought it would be much easier than posting pictures. I do plan on doing some future YouTube videos, although I must say I'm still not all that comfortable in front of the camera, which I'm hoping will change as time goes on.

Anyways, I had a lot of fun putting this together, I used Cardz Tv Stamps sets "Trick or Treat", "Spooky Sayings" and "More Spooky Sayings" and the Echo Park Papers "Happy Halloween", which I had from last year. The SVG files that I used are from SVG Cuts, Svg Cutting Files, the Silhouette Store - #66197 and the Cricut Cartridge "Happy Hauntings". Please do not forget to stop by Cardz TV Gallery and check out what else our other designers have created!

Hope you enjoy...

Pumpkin Picking Box Card

Happy Fall ya'll, here is my 2nd Cardz TV Gallery DT project I made for today, it's my first box card, yay... finally!!! I made this pumpkin box card and used it as an invitation for pumpkin picking.

I live in PA, but I usually go to Alstede Farms in NJ, love going on the hay ride, as always my kids always have to pick the biggest pumpkins, then complain that they are heavy... no kidding, lol! They have a huge corn maze, which you can be easily get lost in for hours and lets not forget their warm fresh baked pies, yummy!!! If you haven't been there and your close by, it's definitely a must visit, especially around this time of year.

Onto the project...I got the cut from SVG Cuts...Autumn Box Cards "Pumpkin Patch" and I used the "Extras" for the labels...1 @ 3 inches and 2 @ 2 inches. The Cardz TV stamp sets I used are "Thankful for You",  "Ticket Talk 2" and "Good Times". The papers are from Colorbok Textured Cardstock "Natural Wonder" and Paper Studio "Natural Botanical". I added orange brads, 3 dimensional stickers "Harvest" and an arrow stamp. TH ink pads for shading...Antique Linen, Forest Moss, Peeled Paint, Gathered Twigs and Rusty Hinge, plus Archival inks - Coffee and Jet Black.

Please do not forget to stop by Cardz TV Gallery and Cardz TV for more inspiration from our DT members.

Hope you enjoy...

Hi everyone, here is my next DT project for Cardz TV Stamps. This is Challenge #6...Create a 3-D School Project. I had so much fun making this project, as a kid, I so LOVED going to school, my favorite subject was Math and my fun classes were Art and Gym... making this project just brought me right back to how much I enjoyed being there. I used Cardz TV Stamps... "Garden Greetings", "Picture This" and "School Days". I got the tissue box cover from SVG Cuts. I added many embellishments and as always added a little extra with the tag to make it my own. I used the apple from this cut on each side and cut a bigger apple for the front. What teacher wouldn't love to get something that's this fun and useful.

Please stop by Mary's blog and join in on this fun challenge at http://www.cardztv.blogspot.com/ for a chance to win a Cardz TV stamp set of your choice! Looking forward to seeing your projects!

Bridal Shower Party Favors

Hello everyone, it's that time again for another Cardz TV 3D Challenge. For this 5th challenge we had to make a 3-d project for a wedding or bridal shower. I found this gorgeous butterfly box from svgcuts.com and decided to make some Bridal Shower Party Favors. I used Cardz TV stamp sets..."Think Spring" - *Butterfly Kisses* sentiment, which was perfect for adding Hershey's Kisses as the favor and the "Thankful for You" stamp set for the *Thank You!* sentiment.

I made the boxes in 2 different colors, one in white and one in the turquoise blue, thought it would be a nice layout for the table for every other one to be a different color...white for the bride "to be" and in this case, the turquoise blue for the bridesmaids. These were super easy to make, I did print out the Bridal Shower information on vellum, added white cardstock behind it and used the same blue cardstock for a the mat, although the ones in photo you will only see the Bridal Shower label. For the butterfly kisses sentiment, I just stamped it onto white cardstock and matted it with the blue cardstock. I cut a little white tag for the "thank you" and tied it with a curly white string ribbon, one of my favorite ribbons to use besides seam binding.

So please join in on the fun and head on over to Mary's blog and enter for a chance to win a new stamp set at: http://www.cardztv.blogspot.com/

Hope to see you there, enjoy...
