Hi there, today I would like to share with you a tag I made. I decided to join in on a swap (which I haven't done in a while) and per my partner's request, I was to make her a Steampunk Christmas Tag. Something new and a bit different, which is awesome because I love to be challenged. I did make it more of a wintery Christmas than the typical traditional one, yet still using some reds and golds. I had lots of fun creating this and I really hope she likes it! :)

Christmas "Merry Season" ATC

Hello my creative friends, I have a Christmas ATC " artist trading card"  that I would like to share. This was made for swap I was in and I actually made 12. I had so much fun creating this, especially because it's for Christmas, another one of my favorite holidays.

I used Tim Holtz inks, wreath die and embossing folder. I fussy cut the scroll from G45's "A Christmas Carol" paper pad, I added a Prima flower and I used the Martha Stewart punch for the branches/twigs.

"A right good time to you and yours...This fair and merry Season."

Enjoy...

Have a wonderful holiday season!!!

Garden in the Basket

Hi guys, hope you are all having a great week. For todays project I made a fun little garden in a wooden basket. The basket is meant to hang on a door, but you can pretty much hang it anywhere.  I got the idea to do this basket from a challenge on the FB group Chic Craftique. Now I am sponsoring the challenge, so obviously I can't join, but I still had fun doing my own take on it.

Aside from the lovely wonderful flowers, I used Craft Embellishments for the bird and the iron piece on the front. I also added a couple of flower buttons, a resin cameo piece and a resin fence to complete the look. Hope this inspires you to do a basket of your own, for yourself or to give as a gift.

Enjoy...

This was a wooden basket that I painted white, I covered it with Graphic 45's "Artisan" papers and heat embossed around all of the edges with Stampendous Encrusted Jewels.

 Have a great day!!!

Stroll Down Memory Lane - Tag

Hi everyone, here with a project I made for the DT challenge from Timeless Twine and Bella Creationz. Today on the blog is "Tag it Tuesday" and I used the "Oh Snap" stamp set for the "Memories" sentiment. Going through my papers from Graphic 45's "Secret Garden", I found an image of a little girl playing in the flowers, which in turn, did indeed bring back some wonderful memories of me as a child.

I wanted to add many flowers to my tag, so I decided to make a the large #10 size tag, which measures 4.125 x 8.25 which I cut out with my Silhouette. I used Timeless Twine "Natural White" which was looped around a couple of flowers and also for hanging the tag. I love this twine as it can used an almost any project.

You can find this tag pretty much at any craft store or as an svg file for Cricut and/or the Silhouette store. I did layer the large tag with a blue smaller tag and stitched it with #10 crochet. I stamped the larger tag with the BoBunny script stamp with the "Coffee" archival ink pad.

Flowers are from Petaloo and the metal accents are from Craft Embellishments which I love and can be found at Hobby Lobby. I think I have every single metal embellishment they make, they come in the nicest colors of blues, yellows, reds and greens.

Enjoy...

"Twas the Night before Christmas" Book Box

Hi everyone, glad to be back with another project to share with you for my DT post for Cardz TV Gallery. I made this adorable book box that I found at SVG Cuts "Spirits of Christmas Past" kit. I think it's just perfect to be used for little Christmas treasures.

I used Cardz TV Stamps "Very Merry" and "Home for Christmas", which couldn't be more perfect. I also cut the moon svg file from "Night Before Christmas" over at Kadoodle Bug Designs.

A couple of embossing folders were used to do the sides of the book, back cover and corners. Finished it by adding some twine, metal brads and rhinestones, along with shading and spraying with Glimmer Mist "Guilded Gold".

Some of my most favorite designer papers are from Graphic 45, I used the "Twas the Night Before Christmas" paper pack.

Can't wait to give this to that someone special that I have in mind!

Enjoy...

"Spellbound" Halloween Tag

Hi everyone, here we are with another project I have created for the Cardz TV Gallery, I just love being part of this DT, there is such wonderful inspiration on the gallery, it's a must see!

I love Graphic 45 papers, I used these papers from the "An Eerie Tale" paper pack , such fun papers to play with. I used a #10 tag and Cardz TV stamp sets "Frankly Frightful" and "Spooky Sayings". I also added a pocket for 2 additional tags I made for a photo and/or some journaling, I used spellbinders die cut #S5-167 for the tab on the smaller tags.

I used my mini tag punch for the "Trick" and "Treat" sayings and added them to the smaller tags. I added some black brads, green rhinestones, green seam binding, green twine and foam tape. I also used black Archival Ink and TH- Black Soot for the shading.

Hope you enjoy...

Purse Gift Card Holder

Howdy all, I have a project here today that I made for a gift card. I bought this purse from the Silhouette store #60407, it's so darn cute I had to buy another (similar) "purse gift-card holder/envelope set" that I will be using for another project I have in mind, I'll be posting that one soon. This purse took no time at all to put together, seriously...it took minutes.

I used Core`dinations green cardstock and Graphic 45 "Time to Celebrate" papers. I added some foam tape to the front and back layers, Prima flowers, button, twine and green ribbon to complete the look. The sentiment I used is from the Cardz TV "Just Saying" stamp set.

Hope you enjoy...

Kelley's Book of Shadows...Final Post

Finally we have arrived to the last post showing the complete book of shadows. This was a long process, but I was very happy with it's end result and to finally send it away. I know Kelley is having fun with it, just wondering how long it will take to fill in all of them color charts...oh boy!!! I didn't get a chance to go through all of the pictures before mailing this out to Kelley, so I picked the best ones out of the bunch, they're not perfect, but I think they will do. Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed the journey!

Kelley's Book of Shadows...

Every chapter cover had a leathery chapter page in front of it, just like the one in this pic.

Part Six...Kelley's Book of Shadows - Chapter Five

All though there are 6 chapters, chapter 5 was the last one that I completed in it's entirety, chapter 6 will be on with the final post as I just covered it with Kelley's favorite paper line from Graphic 45 "Steampunk Debutante", but I didn't add anything else to it other than the back for the tag. I left it so Kelley can add a part of herself to it, her own touch, if you will. This chapter had color charts for a variety of sprays, LSG, Heidi Swap, Dylusions and Tattered Angels, so I decided I would create a mixed media piece using mainly sprays to create it. I also used some fluid inks and transparent liquid paints as well as some prima chalk inks. I added a Kaiser Kraft wooden tree flourish and covered it with some rock candy distress crackle paint, which gave it great texture, I then inked it with Liquitex transparent inks. Again, I tried keeping this as grungy as possible.

Chapter Five...

Fussy cut these butterflies from some Graphic 45 papers that I had in my scrap paper stash.

Rock candy distress crackle paint worked perfect for the texture on the tree.

Made a pocket for more tags.

Part Four...Kelley's Book of Shadows - Chapter Three

Here we are with the 3rd chapter. I know that one of Kelley's styles besides grunge is steampunk and I believe her favorite paper line from Graphic 45 is "Steampunk Debutante"...so that's what I used. On this cover my focus was on the steampunk hat. I printed a sketch I found online for the hat and cut it into 2 pieces (rim and top hat) to use as a template. I traced the images on some kraft chipboard, then covered the chipboard with TH tissue paper. I used LSG sprays, Th embossing folder and TH distress paint to color the hat. I used TH dies to cut out the gears (some I rusted and some I used TH distress embossing powders, inked them with copper paint)and I also added some metal gears I had in my stash. I used flowers, black glitter flourishes, feathers, jeweled leaf and a copper chain that was also from my stash. All in all, I really liked how it turned out.
