Snowflake Tag/Ornament and Giveaway

Hello everyone, time for a project share and a double giveaway. I had mentioned that I wanted to do a giveaway before Christmas, cutting it close but here we are! :)  In the meantime, I am happy to say I have since reached just over 1000 subscribers on YouTube, so what better way to celebrate than to do a double giveaway. To enter the giveaway, all you will need is to be a subscriber of my YouTube channel, like and comment...the winners will be chosen at random and announced sometime in late January, good luck!!!

Meanwhile, I've been mad crazy trying to get so much done before heading out to visit my oldest son, who is so hosting his first Christmas Dinner, so happy and excited to say the least...the fact the I had time to make this post was a miracle, lol. With that said, he wants to start a little tradition, for every year he hosts a Christmas dinner, he wants me to make him a new ornament for his tree. Such a wonderful idea.

Well I thought it would be nice to add a bit of a twist. I wanted to make it more personal by creating the ornament as a chipboard tag first and attaching it to his gift with our sentiment on the back, which in turn he can use the tag as the ornament for his tree. The chipboard "mdf" is from a small circle mini album that I haven't used in forever... it's light, yet sturdy enough to last through time.

Enjoy...

Cards for Christmas

Hello my creative friends, today I am sharing a card that I'm sending to a sweet little 5 year old girl named Safyre, who lost her father and siblings in a fire in 2013. She has one wish this Christmas and that's to get Christmas cards from around the world.

This story just touched my heart and I just had to share. I know this is a busy time of year, but I'm hoping you can find some time to put a little smile on her face by sending her a Christmas card.

Here's the link to the story...

This is just a reminder on how we should all count our blessings everyday...

Merry Christmas Gift Box

Hello my creative friends, hope you are all enjoying a wonderful holiday season. Today I have a DT project for Cardz TV, I made this beautiful present box from MCS. I used CardzTV Stamps "Naughty or Nice" for the sentiment and from Timeless Twine the "Cherry Red" twine.

I love how beautiful this box is, the patterned paper is from G45's "A Christmas Carol", I used some red and white cardstock and a red glittery enamel dot for the bow.  You can make several of these in a snap, using any of your favorite papers. I made this one for Christmas, but this can be used for any occasion.

I made this cute little Christmas treat bag, I plan on making several of these using different pattern papers, I thought it would be fun to hand out to my little nieces and nephews along with their Christmas gifts.

I used the "Cherry Red" Timeless Twine and the "Holiday Sentiments" stamp set from Bella Creationz. The "Christmas Tree Bag" is from the Silhouette store -design # 50964. I used some liquid pearls for the star and some red glittery dots. This project is super easy and super fun, which is great when making more than one.

Keep Calm and Jingle On - Tag

Hello my creative friends, hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm here today with another DT project for Cardz TV. I love shaker cards, so I figured why not do a shaker tag. I used Cardz TV Stamps "Naughty or Nice" for the sentiment, which I so love. I used a Tim Holtz die for the tag, Spellbinders label dies for around the window and covered it in silver embossing powder and silver glitter.

I went to Michaels and was lucky enough to find some beautiful 12x12 paper pads in silver and white and another in gold and white, I also found some in 6x6, so needless to say, I used some off those papers for this project. I added some silver bells, silver snowflake stickers and white chiffon ribbon, I also added some sequins from Bella Creationz  and "Graphite Gray" Timeless Twine.

Please head over to Cardz TV Stamps for newly released stamp sets!

Enjoy...

Hello my creative friends, I have a Christmas ATC " artist trading card"  that I would like to share. This was made for swap I was in and I actually made 12. I had so much fun creating this, especially because it's for Christmas, another one of my favorite holidays.

I used Tim Holtz inks, wreath die and embossing folder. I fussy cut the scroll from G45's "A Christmas Carol" paper pad, I added a Prima flower and I used the Martha Stewart punch for the branches/twigs.

"A right good time to you and yours...This fair and merry Season."

Happy Holidays

Hello my creative friends, I'm pleased to share with you my next DT project for Timeless Twine. I'm still feeling a bit run down from being sick, so I wanted to create a rather simple, but fun holiday card. I used "Cherry Red" Timeless Twine around the tree and star, and the "Holiday Sentiments" stamp set from Bella Creationz.

I'm not a huge sticker fan, but it comes in handy when your low on energy, so I used the two snowmen, bird and Christmas tree stickers from Echo Parks "Everybody Loves Christmas " page kit. This is from a much older kit (2010)... I thought it was time I finally put some of it to use, lol.

I used MS snowflake punch, baby blue rhinestones and the swirl embossing folder for the snow. Inked the edges and faux stitched using a white gel pen. Lastly, I built up the layers with foam tape.

Enjoy...

"Twas the Night before Christmas" Book Box

Hi everyone, glad to be back with another project to share with you for my DT post for Cardz TV Gallery. I made this adorable book box that I found at SVG Cuts "Spirits of Christmas Past" kit. I think it's just perfect to be used for little Christmas treasures.

I used Cardz TV Stamps "Very Merry" and "Home for Christmas", which couldn't be more perfect. I also cut the moon svg file from "Night Before Christmas" over at Kadoodle Bug Designs.

A couple of embossing folders were used to do the sides of the book, back cover and corners. Finished it by adding some twine, metal brads and rhinestones, along with shading and spraying with Glimmer Mist "Guilded Gold".

Some of my most favorite designer papers are from Graphic 45, I used the "Twas the Night Before Christmas" paper pack.

Can't wait to give this to that someone special that I have in mind!

Enjoy...

"Santa's Cookies" Mason Gift Jar

Hi guys, here's a project I made for my son last night, who asked me to make it for a Christmas raffle that they were doing at his job today. He thought it would be fun to contribute a mason jar filled with ingredients and directions for Sugar Cookies.

I used the Cricut cartridge "Teddy Bear Parade" and for the top of the jar an svg file #68381 from the Silhouette store. I also used Cardz TV Stamps "Christmas Critter" for the sentiment. Hopefully this will put a nice smile on someone's face.

"Friends Make the Best Presents" Gift Bag

Howdy, I'm here today to share my next DT project for Cardz TV Gallery. For this project I made a Christmas gift bag and used Cardz TV Stamps "Home For Christmas".

I love to watch the snowfall, it's just so beautiful and cozy, I just had to share it by using it as my back drop for my project. I made a nice huge snowflake for the center of the bag with some Tim Holtz dies and added a little jar with fake fluffy snow which hangs from a blue metallic ball chain...see the video below!

I had so much fun putting this together and I can't wait to give it to a special friend.

Enjoy...

Christmas Treat Box

Hi everyone, here we are with another DT project I made for Cardz TV Gallery! For todays project I made several little Christmas treat boxes, I know this is a busy time of year for most of us and I wanted to make something that would come together rather quickly but yet, with some love and thought put into it. I think these can be perfect gift for anyone "as a" thinking of you at Christmas time... after all it is the thought that counts! :)

I found this "Curvy Box" svg file at My Craft Spot and also the tag from the "Present" svg file.
I used the Cardz TV Stamps - Very Merry, Home for Christmas, Holly Jolly and Snow Day.
The "Ginger Spice Cup" svg file is from Kadoodle Bug Designs.

You will find my YouTube video posted below!

Enjoy...

I did cut out an additional layer to the top of this box because I wanted the paper for the handle to match the frame around the window, I then distressed the edges for a soft snowy feel. I added a pretty snowflake brad with pearls, lace with pearls and I added a white chain to complete the look. Paper used for the box is from Paper Studio "Ornamental Christmas"
and the paper for the window frame and handle
is from "Marcella" by K.

For the next two boxes, I wanted a more rustic look and thought these papers where perfect for it, I used a Martha Stewart punch for the Holly's, red and white twine with red brads and red and white cording for the one below. Papers are from the MME "Brown Paper Packages".
