"Gone Fishin" Box of Shells

Hello there, hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. For todays DT project at Cardz TV Gallery, I made a boat box and I used Cardz TV Stamps "Fun in the Sun" for the cute sentiments. I bought the boat box svg file from SVG Cuts kit "Picnic in the Park" and the fence from the "Seaside" svg kit.

Most kids when they go to the beach, love to collect seashells, so this will be for a little boys room, so he can put his seashells inside.

I did use some Prima seashells, which I painted, and the bigger seashells from K&Company. I used several TH distress embossing powders to create the sand, I added a nautical metal compass and a variety of rope and twine to complete my project. The nautical papers are from Authentique.

Photo Bomb Mini Album

Hi everyone, here we are with another project I made as a DT challenge for Timeless Twine and Bella Creationz. For one of my Mother's Day gifts, hubby got all 4 boys together to go to the park and take many pictures. It's always hard to get all 4 boys together, with one living in Jersey and the other always working, it's not easy. Luckily the twins are still 15, but I can't imagine what it's going to be like to get them all together once they move out. :(

I bought this mini album svg file from the Silhouette store- design #67735, it's 3x4 and comes with all of the tag embellishments. I used the Bella Creationz stamp set "Oh Snap", which is so perfect for this album, I pretty much used every stamp in this set. I also embellished a lot of the elements with several colors of Timeless Twine.

To complete the album, I added buttons, brads, enamel dots, ribbon, inked all of the edges with several colors of the TH ink pads and I added some foam tape, so I could slide some pictures in.

There's lots of space for photos and journaling... I just have to print photos and add the journaling!!! I must say, this was one of the best Mother's Day gift ever!!!

PlanNERD Sunday - Fitness

Hi guys, here we are with another planNERD Sunday post for Timeless Twine and Bella Creationz. This month I started my workout program with my fitness trainer, so it was time to pull out the Plan To Be Fit stamp set. I did switch it up a bit by using the water bottle instead of the cups, which was a nice change. As you can see throughout I continue to use the PlaNERD, PlaNERD 2 and the Plan To Be Fit stamps sets.  These stamps are so much fun to play with and it helps keep my planner nice and tidy.
I love the little "Epic Day" stamp from PlanNERD 2, especially since I had 2 epic days this week, my Wedding Anniversary and Mother's Day.
I had some really nice "Me Time" this week, again using PlanNERD 2
so loving the inspiration from the Plan To Be Fit Stamps, the swirly arrow, heart and everything in between from the other stamp sets
more fitness inspiration for this coming week...always plan ahead

Garden in the Basket

Hi guys, hope you are all having a great week. For todays project I made a fun little garden in a wooden basket. The basket is meant to hang on a door, but you can pretty much hang it anywhere.  I got the idea to do this basket from a challenge on the FB group Chic Craftique. Now I am sponsoring the challenge, so obviously I can't join, but I still had fun doing my own take on it.

Aside from the lovely wonderful flowers, I used Craft Embellishments for the bird and the iron piece on the front. I also added a couple of flower buttons, a resin cameo piece and a resin fence to complete the look. Hope this inspires you to do a basket of your own, for yourself or to give as a gift.

This was a wooden basket that I painted white, I covered it with Graphic 45's "Artisan" papers and heat embossed around all of the edges with Stampendous Encrusted Jewels.

 Have a great day!!!

Tea Time - Teabag Holders

Hi everyone, here with a project for Cardz TV Gallery. For todays project I made some teabag holders. I didn't over embellish them, as I wanted to keep them quite simple. I found some YouTube videos that show how to make these. The green one holds 2 teabags and the blue one holds one. I thought these to be the cutest things ever to give as a little gift for a tea lover.

I used Cardz TV Stamps "Brew Ha HA" for the sentiments and Graphic 45's "Artisan Style" papers. I did add seam binding on the inside flap and added a matt to cover it, which is different from what I saw on the YouTube, where she punched two holes on the binding. I wanted to be able to close the cover and I also added a punched edge to it.

As always, you can add as much or as little as you want, maybe a little teacup would be cute or whatever, but again, I wanted to keep mine simple.

Have a great day!!!

Stroll Down Memory Lane - Tag

Hi everyone, here with a project I made for the DT challenge from Timeless Twine and Bella Creationz. Today on the blog is "Tag it Tuesday" and I used the "Oh Snap" stamp set for the "Memories" sentiment. Going through my papers from Graphic 45's "Secret Garden", I found an image of a little girl playing in the flowers, which in turn, did indeed bring back some wonderful memories of me as a child.

I wanted to add many flowers to my tag, so I decided to make a the large #10 size tag, which measures 4.125 x 8.25 which I cut out with my Silhouette. I used Timeless Twine "Natural White" which was looped around a couple of flowers and also for hanging the tag. I love this twine as it can used an almost any project.

You can find this tag pretty much at any craft store or as an svg file for Cricut and/or the Silhouette store. I did layer the large tag with a blue smaller tag and stitched it with #10 crochet. I stamped the larger tag with the BoBunny script stamp with the "Coffee" archival ink pad.

Flowers are from Petaloo and the metal accents are from Craft Embellishments which I love and can be found at Hobby Lobby. I think I have every single metal embellishment they make, they come in the nicest colors of blues, yellows, reds and greens.

Click Your Heels

Hi everyone, here we go with a project I created for the Party Time Tuesdays DT challenge. Please head on over and join us for the challenge, it's "Anything Goes"! We would love to see your projects and this month's sponsor is Spectrum Noir.

I'm sure I speak for many when I say I have so many products in my studio that I have yet to use. So I've decided I will challenge myself to use at least one product that I have not used in one of my projects. In this case I used my chain link punch.

I have a steampunk boot stamp that I had gotten way back from Stampendous. I have used this boot for a swap I was in, where I created an Artist Tray. It's not a stamp I will use often, so I used it for the project and I will put it aside for something to donate later.

I made some wall d├ęcor using a wooded frame I bought at AC Moore for $1, which hung from rope. I used some Creative Embellishments chipboard gears, along with some metal gears. I did color in the boot with Spectrum Noir markers. I also added some metal accents, flowers and lace to complete the project.

We cannot wait to see your ANYTHING GOES projects for the month of May.  We are also super excited to have back the fabulous Spectrum Noir as our sponsor for May.

Have a great day!!!
