Bridal Shower Party Favors

Hello everyone, it's that time again for another Cardz TV 3D Challenge. For this 5th challenge we had to make a 3-d project for a wedding or bridal shower. I found this gorgeous butterfly box from svgcuts.com and decided to make some Bridal Shower Party Favors. I used Cardz TV stamp sets..."Think Spring" - *Butterfly Kisses* sentiment, which was perfect for adding Hershey's Kisses as the favor and the "Thankful for You" stamp set for the *Thank You!* sentiment.

I made the boxes in 2 different colors, one in white and one in the turquoise blue, thought it would be a nice layout for the table for every other one to be a different color...white for the bride "to be" and in this case, the turquoise blue for the bridesmaids. These were super easy to make, I did print out the Bridal Shower information on vellum, added white cardstock behind it and used the same blue cardstock for a the mat, although the ones in photo you will only see the Bridal Shower label. For the butterfly kisses sentiment, I just stamped it onto white cardstock and matted it with the blue cardstock. I cut a little white tag for the "thank you" and tied it with a curly white string ribbon, one of my favorite ribbons to use besides seam binding.

So please join in on the fun and head on over to Mary's blog and enter for a chance to win a new stamp set at: http://www.cardztv.blogspot.com/

Hope to see you there, enjoy...

Masculine Birthday "Mustache" Box

Hi everyone, I'm back with another DT Challenge for Cardz TV Stamps. This is Challenge #4...Create a 3D project for a Masculine Birthday. I used the "You're the Man" and "Good Times" stamp sets, which were perfect for this project.

It just so happens my husband's birthday is in July and I thought it would be cute to make him this "mustache" box. I got him a watch for his birthday, which I thought worked great with the sentiment "Let the Good Times roll"... yes, pun intended!:) Hoping it puts a nice smile on his face!

It's unfortunate, but the svg file did not match up with the layers, I had to manipulate the layers for it to line up with the box. It really wasn't to difficult to do, considering the mustache was the only cut I changed, basically downsizing it. I then added my own layers to it for all of the sentiments and the rectangles on each side of the box with the tiny mustache brads. All in all, it was easy to put together...I will post where I purchased it from, down below anyways. This would be great for party favors too.

With that being said... please head on over to Mary's blog and join in on the fun "3D Challenge" for a chance to win a stamp set from Mary at Cardz TV Stamps http://cardztv.blogspot.com/

Looking forward to seeing all of your creations! :)
