Cardz TV 3-D Challenge... Graduation Project!

I am so happy to announce that I have made the Design Team for Cardz TV Stamps...YAY!!!
I feel honored to be designing for Mary, her stamp sets are super fantabulous. There are 2 teams, one for cards and the other for 3D projects...I am on the "3D" Design Team. On todays challenge I decided to make this awesome "Easel Card" gift set with a "Graduation Owl" image that I found in the Silhouette Store. I have twin boys who are in the 8th grade and are super excited about going to High School, so this was a perfect challenge "X2" for me to make for them.

There is a ton of inspiration not only from our Design Team, but from Mary as well. She makes the most adorable projects ever, I can assure you, you will not be disappointed.
So please head on over to Mary's blog and check out all the stamp sets available and don't forget to join in on the challenge at...

I'm super excited...here we go!!!

Re-Designing My Blog

Hi everyone,

I am very happy to announce that I am working with Sharon from Plumrose Lane, who will be re-designing my blog. As many of you already know, I had a nightmare dealing with a previous blog designer, but thank god for that because it brought me to Sharon. Sharon is very professional and does amazing work. We will be making changes here and there until we complete the final design,...I'm so excited. Feel free to head over to her site at http://www.plumroselane.com/. You will find many freebies, tutorials and ideas of where you might want to go with your blog design and even phone consults. She works with you closely, step by step up to and after you blog design is installed. Her main concern is that you are happy even after payment is made. So head on over to see what she has to offer, you will not be disappointed.

Thanks!

Vintage Fashion ATC's

Hi everyone, back with another project. I joined another swap on the CMB, this time for an ATC, I never knew how much fun it would be and it was so quick to put one together too. There are 14 of us in the swap, so I had to make 14 of the ATC's that were exactly the same. We each had a theme to choose, plus two materials...I chose Breaking the Rules with metal and texture medium!

Well my crafty friend Jean who hosted the swap decided to surprise us by mixing it up and giving my choices to someone else and someone else's choices to me...I now had to do Vintage Fashion with burlap and mixed media. Hope they are happy with what I came up with and can't wait to see what everyone else has done!!!

I used the burlap for a border and a layer under the flower, I used liquid paint on the resin flower and metallic paint on the foil petal, Copic markers for the stamped image and inks for shading. Then you have the 2 textures of ribbon, metal hanger and pearls.I also used foam tape behind the stamped image, but only in certain areas to give it some variation in hight here and there, guess I should have taken a side view.

Enjoy...
