"Friends Make the Best Presents" Gift Bag

Howdy, I'm here today to share my next DT project for Cardz TV Gallery. For this project I made a Christmas gift bag and used Cardz TV Stamps "Home For Christmas".

I love to watch the snowfall, it's just so beautiful and cozy, I just had to share it by using it as my back drop for my project. I made a nice huge snowflake for the center of the bag with some Tim Holtz dies and added a little jar with fake fluffy snow which hangs from a blue metallic ball chain...see the video below!

I had so much fun putting this together and I can't wait to give it to a special friend.

"Magic of Christmas" Tag

Hi everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, I know I have plenty to be thankful for and totally enjoyed having family and friends over to share this special day.

For todays project I want to share with you a quick post of a tag that I made for Christmas. I used lots of elements and texture to the tag to give it a nice snowy feel. On my next post, I will have a video where I will show you how it more or less came together.

Fall Banner

Hi guys, as promised I'm back with the fall banner that I made, I was going to do a YouTube video on it, but unfortunately I have way too much going on, so I just haven't had the time, sorry.

I bought a set of MDF craftwood pennants from KaiserCraft , I covered them with Authentique papers "Thankful Collection" and I used a metallic paint from DecoArt "Rich Espresso" to paint the sides.

I painted some chipboard letters with gesso, sprayed them with various fall colors of Glimmer Mist, shaded them with my finger using Archival "Coffee" ink and added some foam tape to the back.

With craft cardstock I cut smaller pennants and embossed them with a leaf embossing folder. I distressed the edges and inked them with TH "Walnut Stain" ink, I also inked the embossed leaves. I did spray them with the "Bronze" and "Guilded Gold" Glimmer Mist for a warm glimmer effect. I used bakers twine around the edge and attached it with metallic brads. Before adding them to the larger pennants, I put foam tape to the back.

Finally I used jute to hang the banner and tied a bow with raffia in between each pennant.

Harvest Blessings Gift Bag

Hi everyone,  for todays project I would love to share some Thanksgiving gift bags that I made. I'm having Thanksgiving dinner at my home this year and I wanted to make something nice for the guests to take home with them. Inside I will be adding a jar of caramel and a couple of apples, I found the idea on Pinterest and thought it would be perfect. I still have several more to make, but I just had to share the ones I made so far.

I used craft  gift bags that I covered in beautiful papers from Authentique's "Thankful Collection" and the stamp set I used is from Cardz TV Stamps "Thankful for You".  You can find the acorns on the "B is for Boy" and "Stretch Your Imagination" Cricut Cartridges.

Please enjoy the Youtube video below! I will be back soon with a Fall banner.

Christmas Treat Box

Hi everyone, here we are with another DT project I made for Cardz TV Gallery! For todays project I made several little Christmas treat boxes, I know this is a busy time of year for most of us and I wanted to make something that would come together rather quickly but yet, with some love and thought put into it. I think these can be perfect gift for anyone "as a" thinking of you at Christmas time... after all it is the thought that counts! :)

I found this "Curvy Box" svg file at My Craft Spot and also the tag from the "Present" svg file.
I used the Cardz TV Stamps - Very Merry, Home for Christmas, Holly Jolly and Snow Day.
The "Ginger Spice Cup" svg file is from Kadoodle Bug Designs.

You will find my YouTube video posted below!

I did cut out an additional layer to the top of this box because I wanted the paper for the handle to match the frame around the window, I then distressed the edges for a soft snowy feel. I added a pretty snowflake brad with pearls, lace with pearls and I added a white chain to complete the look. Paper used for the box is from Paper Studio "Ornamental Christmas"
and the paper for the window frame and handle
is from "Marcella" by K.

For the next two boxes, I wanted a more rustic look and thought these papers where perfect for it, I used a Martha Stewart punch for the Holly's, red and white twine with red brads and red and white cording for the one below. Papers are from the MME "Brown Paper Packages".
